It’s pretty difficult to keep up with Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran, but for right now, things seem to be going well. The notorious on-again, off-again couple were spotted grabbing some lunch together at Urth Caffé in West Hollywood yesterday, letting fans know that for the time being, they’re still an item.

Chris and Karrueche dressed casually for the outing, with Breezy wearing a pair of sweats, white T-shirt and Mickey Mouse bucket hat, while Karrueche rocked dark skinny jeans and a black crop top.

Something that was noticeably missing, however, is a giant sparkler on Tran’s finger.

Karrueche posted (then deleted) a snapshot on Instagram showing two huge diamond rings on her hand, which instantly sparked engagement speculation between the tumultuous duo.

And although that specific picture was taken down, Tran is seen sporting at least one of the rings in various Instagram photos. But that finger seemed to be naked during their lunch outing, so maybe it’s not what fans think.

The pair broke up in early December, and they didn’t waste any time when it came to postingcryptic messages on social media.

“Once you find strength within yourself, it’s hard to allow any type of bs around you,” she wrote with an IG pic that has since been deleted. “I refuse to be repeatedly mistreated, especially by someone who claims to love me. That’s not love. And if that’s what you define as love then I don’t want it.”

Meanwhile, Chris threw his own stones by posting (then deleting, because that’s the trend here) the following: “We’ve got scars, some of them u gave me, some of them I’ve caused. That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain’t working. I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!”

Well, looks like they’ve worked it out.

The Internets that be have blessed Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill with a new couple name: Omeeka. With Onika’s recent split from longtime bae Safaree, a.k.a. Scaff Breezy, the Pinkprint‘s head designer is in the market for some eggplant and possibly, love. While she shut down rumors of Meek relations on Ryan Seacrest (“Let me clear this up: I am single”), their chemistry, on wax and off, is enough to get the ‘puters ‘puting.

Lauryn Hill is steadily getting back into her groove of music with the announcement of her plan to hit the road for an intimate concert trek titled SMALL AXE: Acoustic Performance Series beginning in February.

The tour will take place only in Washington, D.C. and New York City, selecting venues like the Howard Theatre and the Highline Ballroom as some of the “Ex-Factor” singer’s performance locations. The legendary R&B vocalist has been away from the music-sphere since her 2013 track “Neurotic Society” dropped, so hopefully on her new tour she’ll mix in her classics with new tunes for us to bump to in 2015.

When Jazmine Sullivan announced in 2011 via Twitter that she would no longer be making music, some of her fans were left confused and upset that the songstress made such a decision. Nearly 4 years later Jazmine is making her return to R&B with her new album entitled Reality Show, which features the break-up anthem ” Forever Don’t Last“, and the mantra for the superficial chick “Mascara.”

Well we finally know how R. Kelly feels about the Lifetime network’s portrayal of the late R&B princess, Aaliyah. Last month, the legend sat in for an interview with The Big Tigger Show in Atlanta and finally spoke out on the biopic.

While Kelly seemed to be prepared for a host of questions, the one about Aaliyah, who he was rumored to have been previously married to, caught him by surprise. ”Did you get to see the Aaliyah movie, how did you feel about it? Lot’s of people didn’t like the Aaliyah biopic, how did you feel about it, being that they had somebody that didn’t look anything like you, playing you?” Tigger asked.

“You asked me this question. I didn’t know you was gonna ask me that. Listen, I didn’t watch that. Once they said they was making a movie and somebody was gon’ be playing me? Can’t nobody play me, homie.” Kelly went on to say, “You got to know me to play me. You don’t know me, you can’t play me. It’s impossible. So why should I watch something that’s not real? When I’m real.”

Well there it goes. No one close to Aaliyah, while the star was alive spoke highly of the movie and neither did her fans. Should a more authentic movie go into the works, or should Aaliayh’s legacy just be lived through her music and fans?
